Juliana Mojica attended Loyola Marymount University in Southern California where she received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration in 2004. She attended New York Law School and received her Juris Doctorate, with a concentration in Public Interest in 2011.  While at New York Law School she was on the Dean’s list, was a member of the Moot Court Association and an Associate of the Justice Action Center. With the desire to make a difference by helping people, Mrs. Mojica began her legal career by interning for the Victim Witness Assistance Unit of the U.S Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia while, at the same time, attending college. Throughout her time IN law school she interned at the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York and for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service writing Board of Immigration Appeals on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security for the Northeastern Region of the United States.  She completed her judicial internship with the Criminal Division of the State of New Jersey - Bergen County. While waiting for the bar results, she worked for the State Bar of California as a complaint analyst which gave her a strong foundation in legal ethics. Prior to forming Mojica Law Group and for the first six years of her legal career, she worked for several private immigration firms as an associate attorney. Eventually working her way up to Senior Associate. At the end of 2018, she decided to open up her own boutique law office. Her practice consists of family-based immigration, VAWA, U visa, waivers, deportation defense, Board of Immigration (BIA) appeals, Ninth Circuit Appeals, and citizenship. In addition to those practices, she also received her license to practice estate law, particularly representing and advising landlords.
